How to create a payment?

Step 1

Click on "NEW PAYMENT" and enter the amount in the local currency of the transaction. Press "Next."

Step 2

At this stage, you can either let your customer decide which cryptocurrency they’d like to pay with using your pre-selected preference during the registration process.

• If you want to provide flexibility, simply ask your customer which crypto they’d like to use for payment. You can even pass Payment Terminal to your Customer and let them choose

Step 3

At this step, you can either ask your customer which wallet they prefer to use for the transaction or hand them the terminal so they can make the selection themselves.

• Ask the Customer: Simply inquire about their preferred wallet (e.g., Trust Wallet, MetaMask, or any other option displayed). Select it on the terminal to proceed.

• Customer Self-Selection: Pass the terminal to your customer so they can choose their wallet directly, ensuring they have complete control over the process.

Step 4

Ask your customer to complete the payment using the QR code. If you're using our Payment Terminal or Android App, you also have the option to accept payments via NFC, making the process even smoother for you and your customers.

Step 5

Wait for the transaction to be processed. This can take anywhere from a 1 seconds to 10 minutes, depending on various factors such as blockchain speed, internet connection, etc.

Once the transaction is successful, the terminal will print a receipt, and if you're using a phone, you'll see a confirmation animation.

Please remember, the transaction isn't considered complete until the receipt is printed from the terminal and/or green check mark animation on the screen. This step is crucial, as it serves as your confirmation that the transaction has been successfully processed and validated. Ensuring that you see the printed receipt before finalizing any sale is a vital part of the transaction process with IVPAY, providing both you and your customer with peace of mind and a tangible record of the payment.
